1st Tab is Pending friend request it will show you the list of those peoples to whom you had sent friend requests and still is pending and also will show you the option to cancel friend request.

2nd Tab is about friends there is nothing & it will remain empty all the time.

3rd Tab Suggested , it is all about suggested friends it will show you pending friends suggestion if you ever sent suggestion to other friends or if some send suggestion to you it will show you pending result only.

4th Tab Requests, this tab about your request if someone sent you request it will show you list there or you can accept or ignore friend request from there also

How to share Folders in Ubuntu via LAN

Follow the Steps:

1. Right-click on the folder you wish to share and select ‘Sharing Options’.

2. When prompted to install Samba services, do it.

3. After installing Samba services, click ‘Restart session’.

4. Then click ‘Create Share’ to complete the process.

Now for Windows :

1. Go to Start --> All Programs --. Accessories --> run and type the command:

\\computer_name\share_name

where type the Ubuntu computer name and the share name of the resource.

2. You will get a prompted to enter your credentials. 

3. Type your Ubuntu username and password and click ‘OK’.

4. If you’re unable to access the shares, go back to your Ubuntu machine and run the commands below:

sudo smbpasswd -a USERNAME

5. Replace USERNAME with your account name.

6.Now try again to access the shares from your Windows machine

7. To find your computer name in Ubuntu run the command below:

hostname

8. VOILÀ :D

Now for Ubuntu : To access the shared folder through other computers of the network, just open up Nautilus, in the left sidebar click on Browse Network then choose the name of the computer in which the folder is shared and you will see it.
